Community-led Development

WEEMA works to collaborate with communities by:

1.  Implementing a bottom up approach within the already existing framework, always including close collaboration with the local government.

2. Truly listening, with a particular emphasis on the empowerment of women and girls.   

3. Conducting work led by leaders who have emerged from the communities themselves.
