Early education has been identified as one of the top priorities by the community.

Kindergartens

WEEMA has established three kindergartens in Mudula, Koleta and Ferzano serving over 800 children per year. In addition to classes, these facilities provide daily snacks to the students.

DIGITAL Early Literacy

WEEMA is working with SelamCompany and Curious Learning to pilot an innovative digital early learning program using mobile technologies. The data is in- and the kids are teaching themselves the ABCs! We are now adding Amharic apps and expanding this program to additional villages.
